The Central Bank of Swaziland has adopted a formal and structured approach to risk management, applied in strategy setting and across the enterprise to coordinate its activities to direct and control the organization with regard to risk. This is meant to minimize the effects of uncertainty on objectives as a result of deviation from the expected- positive or negative. Risk management is meant to ensure long term sustained growth, continued success and reputation of the Bank through optimizing the trade-off between risk and reward.
