Underscoring the Bank’s commitment to supporting disaster relief programmes under its Corporate Social Investment Programme, the Deputy Governor, Felicia Dlamini-Kunene donated 2000 blankets to His Majesty’s Correctional Services. The donation, amounting to E637,800.00, was received by the Commissioner General of His Majesty’s Correctional Services, Lamakhosini Phindile Dlamini, in a short handover ceremony held in the Bank this afternoon. As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to provide urgent support to inmates, the Bank saw it fit to play a part in ensuring effective preparedness, prevention and control of COVID-19 in prisons. Like other institutions, the Bank remains committed in meeting government halfway in ensuring the successful fight against COVID-19.
